All patients admitted at Shri Lal bahadur Shastri government Medical College Hospital Nerchowk have been discharged today and sent back to Chamba where they will be kept in quarantine for 14 days under the supervision of Chief Medical Officer Chamba.
All the four COVID-19 patients from Tissa Teh.Chuhar distt.Chamba were admitted at SLBSGMCH Mandi on April 7 for treatment and today after their test reports being negative, they were discharged and sent back though 108 ambulance under police security proved by district administration.
The 18 staff members including doctor, ward sister, staff nurses, lab. technician, police personnel, hospital security guards, ward attendants and sanitation workers who were on duty with these patients for 10 days too, have been sent to Quarantine facilities at I&PH Training Centre Jal Shakti Bhawan Dhangsi Dhar Mandi, BBMB Field hostel Sundernagar and Hotel Valley View Bagla-Mandi for next 14 days.
No new patient has been reported at SLBSGMCH today.
