Former BJP member of Parliament Dr. Rajan Sushant extended his soliderty with agitating Farmers of Balh Bacho Sangarash Samiti to save their fertile and arable land allegedly being acquired for construction of proposed Intl Airport Nagchala in Mandi district.
A memorandum was submitted to former BJP MP and former revenue minister Dr Rajan Sushant at Kansa choke of Balh on Thursday.
Convenor of farmers BBSS Joginder Walia said on this occasion that despite strong opposition by the people of many Gram Panchayat and Farmers of many villages of Balh valley Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur was adamant to acquire the fertile and arable land for construction of proposed Intl Airport Nagchala in the district.
Terming the move of state government dislusionery Dr Sushant said that Farmers of Balh valley would not allow to acquire their cultivable lands and he would come down in protest against any such move.
Former BJP leader blamed the Modi government ofcentre for selling number of airport to Reliance , Ambani and Adani after acquiring fertile land for its construction. The Government is working to ensure that the big Corporate Houses may maximize their assets and wealth waiving of the public liability on them.
The construction of Nagchala international airport would force around 12000 progressive Farmers to lost their livelihood and Agriculture Land .
Terming the compensation package and land acquisition award being granted to Farmers in various projects by the government delusion, he said that Farmers are being deprived of from their homes and field in lieu of inadequate compensation.
Former BJP MP also charged the chief minister to remain absent from the people of his constituency and district that he was flying in helicopter and lost his communication with general public as he was not aware of their problems.
