After four days of launching Covid vaccine immunization programme, 5067 Covid frontline warriors were vaccinated and 20 cases of adverse events following Immunization (AEFI) have been reported in the hill state during the 96 sessions, a government spokesman said here today.
In Kangra 1044 highest number of Covid warriors took the vaccine and seven complained AFEI, Solan 405 people vaccinated and seven complained adverse event and in Una 443 were administrated Covid Shield first dose and four complaint AEFI.
Where as one each complained AEFI in Mandi and Sirmaur district as 676 and 192 were vaccinated respectively. No one complained AEFI in Hamirpur (639 vaccinated), Bilaspur (279), Chamba (210), Kullu (282), Lahaul Spiti (181) , Shimla (312), Sirmaur (192) & Kinnuar (79).
On Tuesday four session of vaccination was scheduled in Shimla 112 people vaccinated out of total target 200( which is 56 pc) and in Sirmaur 120 people vaccinated out of 183 target (65.5 pc ). Therefore 232 people turned up for vaccination today against the target of 383 people ( 60.6 pc ) no one recorded AEFI.
