Himachal Pradesh traced 10 new COVID-19 positive cases today. Wherein one came up from Kangra, 3 at Bilaspur, 1 in Chamba and all others were reported from Hamirpur District increasing the tally of cases to 90 in the state.
Of the 3 tested positive in Bilaspur, 2Â are wife n son (36 years and 5 years) of already confirmed case who is admitted at Mandi, visiting from Ahmedabad to Hamirpur.
One 19 year old male was also coming from Delhi and resident of Dabat- Majari near Punjab border.
Another 30 years old female (mother of 2 year old positive baby admitted at Balu, Chamba) also tested positive.
A 24 years old female wife of positive patient from jaunta tehsil Nurpur district Kangra has tested positive, confirmed Special secretary Health.
According to Hamirpur chief medical officer Dr Archna Soni, the five patients from the district include four males aged 60, 47 54 and 20 years and a female aged 50 years. Two patients are from Nadaun subdivision and three are from Tauni Devi area, she said.Â
There are now 11 active cases in Hamirpur, while three people have recovered and one person has died of COVID-19 in the district.Â
Across the state, there are currently 41 active cases, said health officials, including 15 in Kangra, 11 in Hamirpur, five in Chamba and 7 at Bilaspur Bilaspur, and two in Sirmaur and 1 in Una.Â
