Noting negligence to follow home quarantine rules, Mandi district administration now decided to put all family members in home quarantine, instead of only person who has came back from other state or district of Himachal Pradesh. No family members can go outside the home on quarantine period.
Deputy commissioner Mandi Rugved Milind Thakur said that if any failure to compliance of this rule is noted all family can be sent to institutional quarantine. Deputy Commissioner appealed to the masses that for the safety of society, help such families to complete their home quarantine period and also help authorities to keep a watch on them. He added that however in case one wants to avert entire family quarantine, there is an option that the one coming back from other district/state can opt for institutional quarantine instead of home.
