Today statewide 159 samples were sent for testing and none has been found positive so far; 103 have tested negative and reports for 56 are awaited, informed Additional Chief Secretary Health RD Dhiman here. He said that till date 1113 samples have been tested and 1025 have tested negative.
Adding he informed that areas in districts where more positive cases have been found are being marked as hot-spots. “Like in district Sirmour,  Misravala and Lohgarh are the 2 hotspots that have been marked. Jharmajri and Nalagarh Radyali are the 2 hotspots in Solan he added. Similarily in Chamba 3 hot-spots have been identified. Under Chamba sub division, areas around Saho panchayat, in Tissa sub-division areas around Galed panchayat and in Salooni sub-division areas around Dayur panchayat have been identified. In Una 3 hot-spots are identified. These are; in Gagret block areas around Nakdoda masjid area, areas of Kuthedakherla in Amb block and Chookimanyar village area in Bangana block of the district. These areas have been completely lock-down and samples of suspected COVID-19 positive are being collected, he informed. He said till now 10 hotspots have been identified.
Till date total of 32 people have been found positive. Nine have recovered and have been discharged, 4 shifted out of state for treatment, 1 lost life and 18 are under treatment in the state. Total 5454 people have been kept under quarantine. Out of them 3246 have completed their 28 days quarantine.
