Today 79 samples were taken statewide; 22 have tested negative and reports for 57 more are awaited, informed ACS Health RD Dhiman here. He said that till date 534 samples have been tested and 459 have tested negative. He said that total people under surveillance are 4654.Uptill today the total patients tested positive are 18, he added. Among positive patients, 2 have cured and have been discharged, 1 lost life, 4 have shifted out of state and 11 are under treatment in Shimla and Tanda, he stated. As per data positive cases have emerged in 3 districts of the state. Una has 3 positive cases, Chamba 4 and Kangra has 7 cases positive.
ESIC hospital in Kanda of Solan district has been notified as COVID-19 hospital. In case of need patients from Solan and Sirmpur shall be housed here. Further he informed that under ‘Active case finding’ campaign more than 41 lac people have been examined till today.
