On wednesday, Statewide 128 samples were sent for testing; one tested positive whereas 127 have tested negative. Out of these; at IGMC Shimla of 58 samples tested 57 are negative whereas 1 was found positive stated Dr Janakraj, MS OF IGMC.
Till writing of this report, the count of total positive cases in the state increased to 28. The one positive case on wednesday has come forward from Sirmour district of the state.
In another statement ACS Health RD Dhiman had said that till date 662 samples have been tested and 634 have tested negative.
Among positive patients, 2 have cured and discharged, 4 have shifted out of state, 21 are under treatment in Shimla and Tanda, and one lost life, he stated. As per data, positive cases in the state have emerged in 4 districts of the state. Una with the highest count has 12 positive cases, Solan has 7,Chamba and Kangra each with 4 positive cases and now 1 from Sirmour . He said that total people under surveillance are 4855.
