In past 24 hours Himachal Pradesh traced eight more new COVID-19 positive cases belonged to Kangra, Una, Chamba and in a first Kullu district increasing the tally of cases 98 in the state.

One 23 year old boy from Anni, has tested positive, confirmed Rich Verma, DC Kullu. The boy is among 10 persons returned from Mumbai, who had reached Bajura via Una Railway station. All are under quarantine, wherein 1 of them have tested positive.
In Kangra, 56 year and 31 year males, 25 year Daughter-in law, all resident of Jheol with travel history from Mumbai have tested positive. Alongwith a 43 year old female from Lambagaon and a 31 year resident of Jwalamukhi, with travel history from Mumbai have tested positive, confirmed DC Kangra Rakesh Prajapati. All have been shifted to medical facility in Baijnath he confirmed.
In the evening on May 19, A 21 yrs old youth belonged to Chuhadi area of Chamba district found positive for nCov-19. He was in private quarantine in Hilltop Hotel Damtal Kangra. He returned from Dubai , UAE on May 13 via Amritsar Airport. He is being shifted to PRT Baijnath. A 28 yrs old male from Una was also tested postive for the nCov -19 on May 19.
Kullu district has reported first case. Kangra district reported the highest 27 cases including 18 active positive followed by Una 19 cases , Hamirpur 15 cases and 11 active, Chamba 13 cases and five active , Solan nine cases all recovered, Bilaspur seven cases five active , Sirmaur four cases, two active and Mandi and Shimla two and one cases all recovered.
Four people have died of Pandemic in the state and each other had shifted outside state for treatment. Total number of active cases remained now 44 in the state.
