Himachal Pradesh Government today decided to issue advisory taking some suggestive and
optional measures in wake of gradual surge in the Covid cases, increasing death of affected patients, increasing R0 factor R positivity rate.
A notification issued by the state disaster Management authority said that the tourists if they are intending to visit the state for tourism related activities they are advised to carry their
covid-19 Vaccine certificate [single or both]or a negative RT-PCRTest report issued not earlier than 72 hours.
Chief Minister also told media persons that advisory and partial restrictions are issued today keeping the alarming rise in the Covid cases and to encourage maximum number people for vaccination.
A notification to this regard has been issued by the Chief Secretary here today. Anil khachi , Chief Secretary said here that blatant violations of covid norms have been observed in several parts of the state especially in public transport and public places. Massive crowds are also thronging the marketplaces,violating norms of social distancing, he added.
In this notification it is clear that if the norms of covid appropriate behaviour are not maintained at any establishment,permiss, markets etc such place shall be liable for the imposition of restrictions for containing the spread of covid 19 and the defaulters should also be liable for action under the relevant laws.
Director of National Rural health Mission (NRHM) Hem Raj Bairwa, confirmed that advisory is optional and suggestive in nature for the tourist. ” it is not mandatory . He however said that with a sudden spike in covid positive cases state could go for mandatory”, the officer added .
