In a set back to the ruling BJP government, the Congress-CPI(M) party supported candidates have won Himachal Pradesh University Executive Council and court election held here today.
In a press statement issued by Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee President Kuldeep Singh Rathore has greeted elected candidates Raj Kumari and Nand Lal claiming the victory of Congress affiliated candidates in the election.
Congress- and Left have joined hand in the HPU as their candidate have also won in Teaching and non-teaching employees organization election in the recent past. He complimented the entire HPU staff and students for ensuring second continue victory
for Congress affiliated candidates.
On August 12 Congress and left supported candidates joined hand in the HPU employee, teaching staff and other elections and got victory on the all the seven posts defeating the BJP affiliated candidates after many years.
Rathore said that Congress is standing with the university employees and students to support their cause and would not allowed any injustice with them.
