As social media is buzzing with live videos of snowfall in the State capital reports are arriving here that the white sheet has blocked traffic between Sanjauli-Kufri-fagu on the Hindustan Tibet National Highway -5 at Kufri. Dhalli-Mashobra road is also closed down after mounting of snow.

Tourist resort Kufri had received eight to ten cm snowfall till 0830 hrs, Manali three cm, Dalhousie two cm, Shimla one cm( now 10 cm) and Keylong three , Kalpa two 11 cm.
Met Office recorded 15 cm snowfall in Kothi of Kullu, 11 cm in Gondla in Lahaul Spiti, Khadrala in Shimla five cm and Nichar in Kinnuar two cm.
Palampur in Kangra had 14.8 mm rain, Dharmshala 12.4 mm, Kangra 8 mm , Seobagh 8.4 mm and Bhuntar in Kullu 6.4 mm, Sundernagar 6.5 mm, Chamba six mm, Manali 5.6 mn Mandi 4.3 mm, Una three, Shimla and Jubberhati 2.6 mm.
Rain and snow also continues in most places of Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur , Bilaspur, Una , Kangra, Mandi and Kangra district. Met Office forecasts rain or Snow at a few places in thenext 24 hrs also.
