Shimla, May 12
The Central board of secondary examination has declared the Plus two result today. Overall the result remained 87.33 percent.
The pass percentage has been evaluated to be 5.38 percent lesser than last year. Last in 2022, out of 1435366 candidate appeared, 1330662 passed. It was 92.71 percent. However this out of 1660511 candidate appeared 1450174 passed the exam.
This girls have out run the boys by achieving 6.01 percent higher passing rate. This year, 90.68 percent girls passed. Whereas among boys the pass percentage remained at 84.67 percent.
Highest passing percentages were seen in Trivandrum 99.91 percent passed plus two here. In North India Delhi west achieved 93.24 percent pass percentage. Chandigarh also among top list got 91.84 percent. Panchkula in Haryana achieved 86. 93 percent pass.
