Indian Meteorological Department predicts for more rain or snow in Himachal Pradesh as a Western disturbance is becoming active with effect from Jan 18 in the state.
The Met Office forecasted that Rain or snow is likely to occur in mid and high reaches at a few
places next week as a WDs are becoming active from Jan 18 onward.
The people of the hill state who took respite from the cold wave as mercury improvised on Sunday with bright sunshine, will have brave, yet another spell. Minimum temperature was mainly normal on Sunday and one to two degrees high compared to Saturday.
Minimum temperature of Keylong in Lahaul Spiti was minus 12 degree Celsius, Kalpa Kinnuar minus 4.8 degrees, tourist place Manali and Kufri minus 0.2 degrees and minus 0.6 degrees.
Abode of Tibent Spirtual leader Dalai Lama, Dharmshala was 4.2 degrees, Una 6.8 degrees
Solan 2.5 degrees, Mandi 4.8 degrees, Chamba and Shimla 4.9 degrees each, Bilaspur, Kangra
and Dalhousie was five degrees each and two degrees high of yesterday and Hamipur 5.4 degrees and Chamba 4.9 degrees.
