The state government has condemned an alleged traffic jam in the state as a spokesperson stated that a video is uploaded on the Social media today showing hundreds of cars heading to the hill state, is a fake.
He informed here today that a fake video was being made viral on social media regarding massive traffic jam in Himachal Pradesh.
The spokesperson said that the video was fake and misleading and does not pertain to the Himachal Pradesh. He said that the roads in the state are open and there are no such traffic jam in any part of state.
He said that the tourists are welcomed in the state and are requested to follow Covid appropriate behaviour.
He urged the tourists to avoid going near water bodies especially fast flowing rivers and rivulets and also advised them to be careful while driving in the hills. He also asked the tourists to be responsive towards the environment.
A vedio also posted by the state police on its face book page(https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2010161009142377&id=406780086147152) stated it as fake.
