Octogenarian and six times former Chief minister Virbhadra Singh who was tested positive for nCoV second time in last two months is responding to doctors investigation and seems to be defeating this 2nd infection of novel corona virus. He was reported slightly critical for half an hour in Friday.
Confirmed reports from late last night also verified by Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital Senior Medical Superintendent Dr Janak Raj said that Singh is stable and responded to the doctor’s call.
Dr. Janak stated that Former CM has been Shifted to the Covid facility after testing positive and is taking benifit of health. The IGMC cautioned People to be not swayed by Social media rumors. He had issued a special medical bulliten on IGMC whatsapp group of media at 1923hrs on Friday.
“Purab mukhaymantri Virbhadra Singh ji Covid positive hone par agami ilaz hatu Covid Vayvastha mein shift kiyagai hain. Aur voh swasthya labh lai rahe hain. Karipaya Afvaon par dhyan na de.” Media brief mentioned in Hindi.
There is information that IGMC Covid Doctors investigated Singh around 1930 hrs on Friday in Makeshift wards and he responded on the doctor call normally.
‘A Doctor asked Singh to open his eyes and move out his tongue on which the former CM responded easily” a staff member on the duty in the Make shift ward informed stating that he was critical for half an hour when he was shifted from Cardiology unit to Covid ward at 1532hrs on Friday.
Earlier in the day 1334hrs Dr Janak informed that Singh’s Covid report was found positive.
A Social media post made from Solan by a BJP leader last night shocked every one as it trended quickly but was quickly withdrawn from the thread showing apology.
To clear the speculation about Singh, his twitter handle tweeted at 2145 hrs on Jun 11 ” Maa bhimakahli kai ashirwad va doctoron ki dekh rekh mein, mein Swasth hun”
Earlier to this Singh’s sample had been taken for tracing the Virus on Jun 10 as four days before a Nurse deputes in the ward where the former CM was admitted tested Covid positive.
This is the second time he has contracted Corona Virus in last two months. Singh was found positive for nCoV on April 10, 2021 and hospitalized for a month at Max Hospital Chandigarh soon after he discharged, he had to be again hospitalised at IGMC due to deteriorating health condition. Singh is in IGMC since last one month.
He got first dose of Corona Vaccine on Mar 3 at DDU Hospital Shimla along with his wife Pratibha Singh.
Singh is longest serving Chief minister as he has take six times and has a long experience in the public life. Currently he represents People of Arki Assembly constituency of Solan district.
Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur has visited IGMC twice to enquire about Singh’s health.
