A quarantined 43 year old woman who died after her health deteriorated in Mandi district has been tested Corona negative. Late evening sample result of deceased lady were found negative.
The woman belonged to Kullu district had returned from red zone passed away this morning after suddenly her deteriorated health. Woman was being taken to SLBSMCH Nerchowk but she died on the way to hospital. Woman was suffering from certain health condition and had came back after treatment from RMLH hospital Delhi few days back. Repotedly she was sent to her mother’s house by her husband near Katindhi. After arrival woman was institutional quarantined at Katindhi of Mandi Sadar subdivision.
This morning when the woman did not respond to call by her family members, a health team was sent to check. Where after after consultation with medical officer on duty she was recomended to be shifted to Nerchowk Medical College through 108, stated MS Dr Davinder Sharma. But she lost life enroute. Fearing any infection, because of her sudden death Medical college staff took sample of deceased women for COVID testing.
In the evening after the sample of the women being found negative confirmed Deputy commissioner Mandi Rugved Milind Thakur. He said that her family members can take her body for last rites.
