Shimla, July 6
Cabinet Minister in the Government of Goa and a former speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly Rajendera Vishwanath Arlekhar to be new Governor of Himachal Pradesh as the incumbent Guv Banadaru Dattatraya has been transferred as Governor of Haryana.
A press released issued by the President of India appointed Arlekhar as new Governor of Himachal Pradesh replacing Bandaru Dattatraya who is appointed as Guv of Haryana.
In a notification issued to reshuffle and appoint as many as eight New Governors including Goa, Tripura, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh.
P.S. Sreedharan Pillai, Guv of Mizoram is transferred and appointed as Guv of Goa. Satyadev Narayan Arya, Guv of Haryana transferred as Guv Tripura, Ramesh Bais, Guv of Tripura transferred as Guv of Jharkhand, Union minister Thaawarchand Gehlot as Guv of Karnataka, Dr . Hari Babu Kambhampati as Guv of Mizoram. BJP leader of Gujarat Mangubhai Chhaganbhai Patel as Guv of Madhya Pradesh.
