Ramlalla Pran Pratishtha: HP Govt declares Jan 22, 2024 as Public Holiday

Following up the directives issued by the Union government to observe January 22, 2024 as Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya, the Himachal Pradesh also issued notification to declare public holiday tomorrow.
Chief Secretary of Himachal Pradesh issued a notification that the State government has decided that full day of 22nd January, 2024 (Monday) shall be observed as a Public Holiday in all Departments, Boards, Corporations, Schools, Colleges and Universities in Himachal Pradesh.
CS said that the Government on order to enable its employees on the occasion of Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya will observe a public holiday on Monday.
The benifit of the holiday will be applicable to daily wage employees and also be the holiday within the meaning of Section-25 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
