Threat message to spoil flag hoisting ceremony of HP CM on 15th August received by Journos of Himachal Pradesh

A threat through an International call was made to state Journalists in a recorded message at around 1053 hrs on Friday allegedly making call to all prokhalistani and farmer groups to join the farmer tractor protest to cordon Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while hoisting Tricolor on 15th August.
This correspondent along with number of others state journalists was called around the same time from different international numbers playing the message in a recorded form. A clipping of message was recorded by some of journos and forwarded to state police and security agencies to alert them.
The 56 second long recorded message is mixed in English and Punjabi was heard in a male voice with following words. ” This message is for Himachal Government, on 15th of August we will not allow Jai Ram Thakur to hoist Indian Tricolour. Yai Saniha (message)
Sikh for justice International council Gur Khushvant Singh Panu Washington DC tai hai. Himachal Pradesh was part of Punjab and we are seeking a referendum in Punjab, once we liberate Punjab we would make sure that we would take over Himachal Pradesh area which are  part of Punjab I ask all  farmers and prokhalistani skihs to come out, bring their tractors and stall Jai Ram Thakur from hoisting Indian tricolour ”, said the message.
The state agencies are yet to react over the call made to state journalists and most of media persons who received the call already informed the state Media Shimla police whats-app group forwarding the recorded call on their mobile phones and detail of incoming calls.
Some of the media persons also tried to call back on the incoming number it could not be completed as the international number have been blocked to receive calls.
This is the first such type of call to media persons in the state of Himachal from any militant group however as per information similar messages keep on coming to media people in Punjab but they do not give much weight-age to such calls, informed a journalist from Punjab.

The State police in an official statement of their social media stated”We are receipt of pre-recorded message from pro Khalistani elements from overseas sent to some Journalists of Himachal Pradesh and siezed of the matter.

“HP police is fully capable of securing the State and preventing anti-national elements to thwart peace and security in HP in cooperation with Central security and intelligence agencies,” they concluded.
