Three persons died due to Covid-19 on Monday in Himachal Pradesh, and 859 new cases were found positive for the pandemic, state Health officials confirmed. Each died in Bilaspur, Hamirpur and Kangra, increasing the total toll to 4144 in the state. The death toll of Covid-19 is highest 1292 in the Kangra district.
Out of 859 new cases found positive include 176 in Mandi, 175 in Kangra and 143 in Shimla, 75 in Hamirpur, 66 in Bilaspur, 52 in Sirmaur, 47 in Una, 35 in Solan, 34 in Kullu, 33 in Chamba, 23 in Kinnaur and 9 in Lahaul-Spiti district. Active cases increased to 5572 in the state, and 838 patients recovered today.
Total cases mounted to 300380 in state. The Covid per day positivity rate registered is 17.38 percent in the state. today.
