
Two houses & five cowshed washed away in torrential rain
Shimla, July 15
Two houses and five cowsheds were washed away in Goru Dug village of Lag valley, Kullu district, due to torrential rain, as confirmed by the district administration today.
Ashutosh Garg, the District Magistrate of Kullu, stated that the cloudburst in Goru Dug, under the Past Patwar circle of Lagvalley, caused the destruction of two houses and five cowsheds.
Fortunately, no loss of life was reported in this incident. The revenue team has been dispatched to the location to assess the extent of the damage.

Today, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a Yellow alert for the state, predicting heavy downpour. The Sarabri river’s water level has risen significantly in Lag valley, prompting local authorities to issue warnings advising people to stay away from the flooded Khad or Nalaha.
