Two light tremors jolted Nako area of Kinnaur in western Xinzang -Indian border regions and Dharchhochhodan area in Lahaul-Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh last night, Indian Meterogical department informed.
Spokesperson of IMD said that first earthquake measured 2.60 was felt at 0029 hrs on Monday having epicenter at 31.89 degrees North and 78.66 degrees East and at the depth of five km near Nako of Kinnuar district.
Second earthquake measured 2.50 was felt at 0222hrs on Monday having epicenter at 32.07 degrees North and 78.49 degrees East and at the depth of ten km near Dhar Chhochhodan of Lahaul-Spiti district.
No report of any loss of property and life reported in the earth quake.
