In a first, 3 people have tested positive from Chopal of Shimla district. All 3 have travel history from Mumbai and have been quarantined at Deha under Chopal tehsil, stated Deputy Commisioner Shimla in a social media message.
The 3 are 26 year, 22 year and 20 year old males, added DC. The people who have tested positive are being shifted to Covid Care Centre Panchayati Raj Training Institute, Mashobra, he added.
Two men tested positive in Kangra 39 yrs Male from Dadh and 36yrs male from same village Dadh tested positive, both came from Ahmadabad on 21.5.2020 confrimed CMO dr Gurdarshan Gupta.
Meanwhile another covid patient died in Himachal. The 73 year Old female patient with multiple organ diseases was refered from Hamirpur and tested Corona positive at IGMC two days ago.
She was under treatment in IGMC, wherein she died last night, confirmed Dr JanakRaj MS of the institution.
