Loin’s Club Shimla while extending a helping hand towards the suffering humanity in the dire time of pandemic provided life saving equipment and services to the people in the town.
Treasurer of LCS Man Mohan Verma told that apart from their regular charity work, they offered a specially designed cabinet and other protection equipment to IGMC for Covid testing. They are also contributing toward dialysis centre in New Shimla as per the request received from two needy patients who were not having sufficient funds for their treatment.
He said that club was running a Dialysis center to serve the people, who wanted to avoid crowded hospitals during the time of pandemic. The club has also appointed trained staff and nephrology experts to run this unit.
On Tuesday President of Club Mukul Sood handed over automatic hand sanitizers to the Principal Bhupinder Singh of Govt Girls Senior Secondary School Lakkar Bazar.
The Club members recently organised afforestation program and planted sapling of Deodar, Cedars and Oak amid the pandemic in month of August this year, Verma added.
