As many as 61 new cases were registered in the state on Wednesday increasing the tally to 1725 , moreover Himahal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur confined him to home quarantine as a CM office official tested positive for nCoV, but four samples of CM and family members found negative, Senior Government Officer Confirmed
Additional Chief Secretary R D Dhiman said that 23 tested positive in Shimla ten in Solan seven each in Sirmaur & Una, six in Kangra, Four in Chamba and three in Mandi and one in Hamipur in the state on Wednesday.
Dhiman said that Four sample reports of CM and family members are negative.
Dhiman that Deputy Secretary in CMO tested positive for nCov forcing the CM and his family members and staff to confine them home quarantine.Â
He said that 36 samples taken in Oak over and 27 in Secretariat on Wednesday.
23 tested positive for nCoV in Shimla incluidng primary contact of BJP spokesperson of District Mandi.
Among the three positive include deputy secretary of chief minister office and two others.
SDM Rohru said that 17 workers and an apple grower tested positive at querantine Centre Mandli in Rohru subdivision of Shimla district.
With 23Â more cases in Shimla tally rose ot 120 in Shimla including 67Â active and 50 cured .Â
Solan is worst affected district as tally mounted to 391 with ten new cases today also having highest 249 active cases and 136 recovered.Â
Out of total under process of yesterday samples that were 45 , 10 tested positive today.Â
One aged 25 yrs male came from UP presently at Kotla Nalah area of Solan town, two contacts of Sara factory Baddi , two in qurantine center out of it one staff of Nimantran Hotel Baddi.Â
Also direct contact of positive case from PGI Chandigarh, came from Kuwait. One quarantine at home aged  47 ys direct contact. Four are ILI cases from community.
Solan is followed by Kangra recorded 359 cases also had six more cases , with 53 active and 302 cured.
Among the seven people tested positive today five belonged to Govindgarh Mohala of Nahan town in Sirmaur district. victims include a four month old baby , six years old girl, 22 yrs, 30 yrs, 57 yrs old women .Â
Similarly a 52 yrs old man and 50 yrs old woman belonging to Rajgarh area also found positive .Â
Sirmaur district recorded about 75 cases of nCoV. Total number of cases in Sirmaur increased to 130 in the district including 90 active 33 cured.
Three Covid-19 positive cases registered in Mandi include 40 yrs old man resident of Palace Colony Mandi town , 34 yrs old man resident Vishwakarma Mandir, Mangwai of Mandi district and 46 yrs old man hailed from Gurmajhawar Village of Badwada of Sarkaghat.Â
Among the victims include a BJP spokesperson belonging to Mandi town and a Armed force jawan.Â
Tally mounted to 53 Mandi district including 14 active and 36 recovered three people died in a pandemic in the district.
Two family members and contact of a Armed force jawan tested positive in Chamba, a front line police Jawan tested and a woman who came in contact of COVID patient tested positive in the district. Tally increased to 84 in Chamba Including 26 active and 57.
Tally mounted to 171 in Una district including 43 active and 128 cured.
One more person aged 29 years of the Majhot village of Hamipur district has been found CORONA positive.Â
He had returned from Leh along with one of his relatives on July 16th and was under home quarantine since then.
 Dr. Archana Soni, CMO, Hamirpur said that the positive man would be sent to Dedicated COVID care center for treatment and isolation. Meanwhile, the total number of positive cases in the district has risen to 286 including 13 active cases. There were 270 cured cases in the district and three had lost their lives due to dreaded virus.
With this tally of Covid 19 mounted to 1725 in the state Including 593Â active and 1105 recovered.
Ten people died of Pandemic in the state and 13 others migrated to other states. Â
