Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur made a counter attack over the opposition walkout during the Guv address on the first day of the budget session here today.
Attacking the opposition for terming the Guv address blatant lies, the Chief Minister told media outside the assembly that boycotting Guv speech in the house only proves that Congress members are not keen to take part in the session with decorum and like previous sessions. He said that opposition members deliberately wanted to create heated discussion rather than raising the public issues, adding he stated that the opposition claimed that there are lies in the Guv address.
Replying to the allegations of leader of opposition Mukesh Agnihotri that Guv address was false and misleading, the Government would not accept everything in the name of protest. Action would be taken soon against the culprits of the firecracker factory. The Chief Minister said that FIR has been lodged in the firecracker factory tragedy in Una district and action would be taken against the guilty earliest. The Chief Minister accepted that the firecracker factory was being run illegally, then soon action would be taken on it.
The Chief Minister informed that the concerned minister would also give a statement on the tragedy during the session. The Chief Minister was replying to allegations raised by Mukesh Agnihotri on deteriorating law and order in the state.Terming the Budget session of Jai Government merely farewell Chief Minister Jairam replied that Congress is day dreaming to return in power.
