A 51 year old man shocked Shri Lal bahadur Shastri Medical College Nerchowk staff on Tuesday by telling them them that he is Corona positive and needs treatment. The word of man stunned the medical staff for a while and after that senior doctor enquired properly about the Corona positive person and sent him to Covid care center Dhangsidhar, near Mandi. His wife and taxi driver, which he had hired from Gurugram, was also sent for institutional quarantine.
Deputy commissioner Mandi Rugved Thakur stated that a private vehicle driver, who was working at Gurugram today returned with his wife and claimed that he is Corona positive and needs treatment. He reached at Nerchowk Medical College and showed his Corona positive report to medical college staff. Medical college staff informed senior staff about this incident. Senior medical superintendent Dr Devendra Sharma enquired from this person and then sent him to cobit care centre Dhangsidhar at Mandi because he was asymptomatic. His wife and taxi driver were also sent to institutional quarantine. The person who claimed to be corona positive said that he tested positive in a private lab and then he decided to go to his native land at Ladbhadol of Mandi district. He said that he was helpless at Gurgaon so he decided to return back his native land.
