Shimla, May 5
State BJP unit Chief Suresh Kashyap was tested positive for Novel corona virus on Wednesday as situation of 2nd wave of Covid pandemic seemed to be out of control only 13 beds were available for the critical care in this capital town.
State BJP president Kashyap have stated this morning on his Social media post that he found positive for nCoV under gone Covid testing soon after symptoms of the disease.
He hoped that will recovered soon from the outbreak and join his public life again. Currently, he is in isolation on the recommendation of doctors. He urged those who came in his contact recently to undergo testing and follow Social distancing.
Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur expressed shock over the contracting of Kashyap and wish for his early recovery from the infection. On Monday a Cabinet member Sarveen Chaudhary also tested positive for nCoV .
Deputy Director Health services Ramesh Chand said on his social media post that people should take care by wearing masks , washing hands time and again as Covid pandemic is spreading quickly in the state.
He said that on Tuesday there were only ten beds available for people in IGMC and three in dedicated Covid Centre Mashobra. Meanwhile CPI(M) Kasumpti leader Satyavan Pundeer said that Eight staff members of Kamala Nehru hospital tested positive .
State saw highest ever spike in Covid cases on Tuesday as 48 People died and 3420 tested positive.
