Former chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and central party incharge were among those who attended the three day contemplation meeting. In the last leg Party MLAs and loosers of 2017 Election were invited in meeting. Many of them highlighted shortcomings of the government however taking guard Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur and his cabinet members stated that all such issues would be sorted out before the Assembly Election.
The Chintan Shivir was considered important in light of the erroding internal party democracy as the shivir also paid the ritual of party parliamentary board .
After the Chitanshivir a senior BJP leader said on the condition of anonymity that the BJP spokesperson reference about the indoor discussion was mature enough and articulated however what happened in the meeting couldn’t be revealed to media as the report of meeting would be submitted to party high command.

Ruling party is in public scrutiny over the slow moving approach to tackle the second wave of Covid pandemic. Political parties are blaming the state government that Jai Ram Thakur Government is blindly toeing the lines of the Centralgovernment for every issue including the Covid Pandemic.
Party must come with blueprint to tackle the situation arisen by Covid pandemic as it is essential to restore the erroded faith of people.
There seems no improvement in Vaccinatation program after the shortage of Vaccine and flip flop of Centre to sponsor the campaign completely.
Three by election ( Mandi lok sabha and Fathepur and Jubbal Kotkhai Assembly) could be game changer as party high command dictate on every issue would not able to help any more without bringing the entire leadership on one chapter.
The resolution to repeat was the old slogan which seldom becomes possible in the state despite charismatic leadership , the party must have realised, he added .
