The Covid Test positivity rate has showen sudden increase in the districts where heavy footfall of tourists and forefingers were witnessed during recent Christmas and New years celebrations, a report issued by the state disaster management authority here warned.
A report released by the state disaster management authority about daily monitoring of Covid-19 situation in the Himachal today said that positivity rate of Kullu district is alarmingly 15.7 as currently 25 active cases are in the district, Shimla and Kangra which witnessed massive congregation of new year revellers and tourists registered 6.2 positivity rate having 88 and 195 active cases.
In Kangra district 16.67 per cent ICU beds are already occupied and only six ICU and 164 oxygenated beds are vacant in Shimla 5.56 pc ICU beds are already occupied for Covid and 222 oxygen and 18 ICU beds are available, the data released here said.
State also registered 3.2 positivity rate of Covid pandemic having 526 active cases, case fatality ratio 1:3. The State has about 2475 oxygen and 264 ICU beds available currently state occupancy for ICU beds is 6.06 per cent.
Bilaspur district has four test positivity rate, two in Solan and 1.4 in Chamba. Currently Hamirpur, Kinnuar and Lahaul Spiti have zero positiivity rate but there are 33, three and four active cases in these districts respectively.
Case fatality rate is zero in all the districts baring one in Kangra district.
