Curfew shall continue in the state till May 31, stated JaiRam Thakur Chief Minister of the state in a video message here. Thanking citizens for supporting the curfew in the past days, Thakur added that in the past few days the cases have increased in HP. Adding he stated that it was being preempted that people returning to state from infected zones might carry the infection here. “And it happened also,” he affirmed.
Yet we are relived of a fact that out of 80 total cases, there are only 33 active cases here, which is a better stats as compared to other states, he informed. The Chief Minister again requested returnees to the state that, they should strictly follow home/institutional quarantine rules, which will help all win the battle against #COVID-19.
The Central Government vide an order today primarily had put the ball in the court of State Government(s)/ UTs pertaining to relaxation to be given zone wise. Even selection of zones and resuming of local public transport/ opening of shops/ offices has been left on the wisdom of the state. However the HP Chief Minister in his message provided no clarity about any additional relaxations in addition to the ones, already provided by district administration(s).
