The Director General of Himachal Pradesh Police here today issued a warning to people with travel history to Nizamuddin Markaz or Tabliqu-E-Jammat. He said that either disclose travel history by 5 PM today or face trial,”stated the DGP.
In a warning message Mardi said that if these people will not disclose and will put life of others in danger or if someone loses life due to their behaviour, police will Register FIR under Disaster Management Act and also 307 and 302 under IPC.
He also said that the chiefs of Jamats in all districts have been directed to disclose if any information and after this if they still conceal any relavent information they will also be held responsible. DGP further disclosed that one Maulvi of Muslim community has been arrested from Kangra district of the state. He said that due to his statement on social media communal tension was steaming thus yesterday night a Police Reserve was sent and the Maulvi was arrested.
He said so far 277 people of Tabliqu-E-Jamat travel history have been identified and 17 FIR has been registered against Tabliqis and total 85 cases has been registered against such people.
