Himachal Pradesh Government would provide Rs three lakh to the new Municipal Corporations of Solan, Mandi and Palampur and also exempt payment of property tax in these civic bodies.
Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur who holds the portfolio of finance said this for year 2021-22 budget estimates in the Assembly.
He said that Rs 98 Cr Scheme under Shimla Jal Nigam limited would be dedicated in the Shimla MC as number of Sewerage Treatment Plant would be Commission in the number of outskirts.
He said that out lay of Rs 151 Cr would be kept for fy 2021-22 for urban development department.
Online registration of property would be made functional in the state so that people could registered their documents from the home online.
State would Govt Rs 409 Cr under climatic relief from the state . A committee was constituted to survey the receipts of department and ensure climatic relief. Chief minister also announced to increase the honorarium of Part time worker in Revenue department and Lambardar by Rs 300.
