Chief Secretary Anil Khachi apprised the Governor that farmers and fruit growers do not require curfew passes for transpirations of their produce as they have been exempted from all the existing exercise. He also apprised about various measures being taken related to control of coronavirus and about arrangements made by the state government to facilitate farming community and general public as well.
In a meeting with few senior officers of the State Government at Raj Bhawan today, Governor Bandaru Dattatraya said that adequate arrangements should be made to ensure remunerative prices to the horticulturists of the state keeping in view the ensuring apple season. He said it should also be ensured that farmers do not face any difficulty in transportation of their produce to various markets.

He said that if necessary, the government may consider increasing the procurement price under Market Intervention Scheme (MIS).
