Four persons died and three others sustained injuries in separate road mishaps occurred in Una and Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh in last 24hrs confirmed state officials.
State Emergency Operation Centre spokesperson Sudesh Mokta said that a vehicle skidded of the road near Ashapure Barrier in Gagret Tehsil of Una district last night at 2230hrs. Three persons died on the spot. Deceased couldn’t be identified so far, he informed.
Another mishap occurred at degree College Sarkaghat Mandi district at 1900 yrs last night when a vehicle carrying four people fell down in a deep gorge. One person died and 03 injured in the mishap who were rushed to Sarkaghat civil hospital.
The deceased is identified as Gagneshwer Verma S/O Kashmir Singh Village Rakoh tehsil Sarkaghat District Mandi. Injured are identified as Pankaj kumar, Rajesh kumar and Aehsan. District Administrations would provided immediate relief of Rs. 30,000 to next of kin and Rs 6000 relief has been given to the injured persons.
