Four new cases were tested positive in the state for COVID-19 as two cases are traced in Kangra and one in Mandi and Kinnaur district, senior Government officer confirmed today.
Additional Chief Secretary Health and Nodal Officer of COVID-19 R D Dhiman said that 560 people are tested positive in the hill state as four new cases were detected in state in last 24 hrs. He said that two cases were found positive in Kangra and one each in Mandi and Kinnaur on Tuesday.
He said that with two more cases in Kangra number of coronavirus cases rose to 147 Kangra district with 47 active cases and 107 recovered. One  person has succumbed to the deadly virus.
Kangra Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Prajapati said a 24-year-old man and his 20-year-old brother, who traveled here from Delhi on June 12, have tested positive for the contagion and were shifted to Panchyati Raj Training Institute (PRTI), Baijnath.
He said that 12 male patients have recovered and tested negative for the pandemic.
He said that nine patients were discharged from DCCC Dadh and three from DCCC Baijnath. They have been advising home quarantine for seven days, the DC said. Â
In Mandi district total number cases increased to 23 including three active and 18 recovered two people died of due to novel Corona Virus in the district.
Out of total 560 cases detected till today as many as 180 are active and 361 have recovered including eight death during the pandemic. Two people died recently in Shimla and Chamba  Dhiman said that they the reason for their death was not Covid-19 related health issues though both were tested COVID- positive.
