Himachal Pradesh Assembly adjourned sine die after remaining in budget session since Feb 26 to March 20 conducting 16 sitting here today. The Speaker Vipin Singh Parmar announced that the house remained in session for 55 hours and 32 minutes and had 16 sittings.Â
He said that including Budget of financial year 2021-22 total five bills were passed in the Assembly. Session began with the Guv address on Feb 26 and for next three days house made discussion on Guv address. Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur present year 2021-23 budget on Mar 6 and the houses also discussed the budget estimates from Mar 8 which lasted till Mar 15 in which 34 members took part in the discussion which lasted for ten hours and 33 minutes.
Chief Minister give the reply of budget discussion on Mar 15 . From March 16 to 20 the house discussed the cut motions and supplementary demands of department. The house passed the appropriation bill on the last day of Budget Session and all the cut motions were cleared after applying guillotine by the speaker.
During the session house 539 starred and 218 un-starred questions were raised, discussed and replied in the house. Under rule 324 and special attention ten cases were raised. 76 account and legislative committee reports were laid on the floor of house.
