As many as 24 new cases of Covid 19 were tested positive in Himachal Pradesh today increasing the tally of Covid 19 to 383 in the state.
Additional Chief Secretary Health R D Dhiman said that Seven cases registered in Sirmaur District, four each in Hamirpur and Kangra district, three each in Mandi and Chamba and one each in Kullu, Shimla and Bilaspur.
Deputy commissioner Sirmaur R K Purthi confirmed that five of them returned from Uttar Pradesh and two from Delhi and all of them were in Institutiinal Quarantine before they were tested positive.
In Sirmaur District four cases are traced in Kachatank area Nahan, two from Kolawalabhund and while one more couldn’t be identified.
With addition of seven cases total number of COVID-19 postive cases increased to 11 in the district 8 cases are active while three have recovered in the district.
Deputy Commissioner, Harikesh Meena said that four new cases detected positive for SARS-COV-2 in the district.
All were under institutional quarantine in the district and would be sent to Covid care centers for isolation and treatment.
With the detection of four more Corona positive cases in the district, total number of such cases has risen to 118.
While forty-nine have been cured , one dead, the total number of active cases now stands at 68.
Deputy commissioner Kangra Mr Rakesh Prajapati said that four cases are found positive in the district in last 24 hrs.
With four new cases tally increased to 98 in the district including 49 active and 48 recovered .
He said that nine people recovered in the district.
Dhiman said that three more people found positive in Mandi district increasing total cases to 20 and active cases to 10 , number of cured people increased to eight in district.
One cases was found positive in Bilaspur increased to 20 and active cases to 11, One patient have rovered from the pandemic in the district in last 24 hrs
Two more people also recovered in Una district increasing the number of cured people to 24 in the district .
One new case was reported in district today increasing total cases 40 and active cases.
Three cases of Covid 19 were detected in Chamba district One Tibetan origin man belonged to Bakrota of Dalhousie were tested positive today. He along with former were recently travelled Sonipat Haryana and Dehli positive.
One person belonged to Chamba district also tested positive for SARS-COV-2 early today.
Total number of cases to 28 , 15 cases are active in the district and 13 recovered.
Dhiman said one each case was tested positive in Shimla and Kullu district today.
The case from capital is the first from the city as the 46 year patient belongs to Vikasnagar in Shimla city and has travel history from Delhi.
In Shimla district total cases increased to 11and two people are active and nine recovered.
In Kullu district tally is confined to three , active cases are two in the district and each recovered .
He said that 29 People cured in the state including ten in Hamirpur nine in Kangra, Seven in Shimla and one each Solan, Una and Bilaspur today
Now with these new cases in the state total positive in state mounted to 383 and Active cases are 199.
About 175 patients have recovered in the state as state reported six death due to pandemic and four cases migrated to other states outside Himachal Pradesh .
