To make up loss of court hours in lockdown HC cancel summer vacation

In order to partially make up for the loss of Court working hours, on account of threat of COVID-19 virus spread and the resultant lockdown declared by the Government of India and Government of Himachal Pradesh, which has seriously affected the normal functioning of the Court, the High Court of H.P. has decided not to observe the ensuing summer vacation commencing from 8th June, 2020 to 12th June, 2020 and these days are declared as Court working days. 

The present arrangements, made for the functioning of the High Court, shall continue till further orders. Presently, the High Court is conducting the proceedings through video conferencing as well as by giving physical hearing of the case, if need arises, by maintaining social distancing.
