Fourteen new cases of COVID 19 were tested positive in Himachal Pradesh increasing the tally of to 359 in the state.
Additional Chief Secretary Health R D Dhiman said that four cases were reported in Kangra district two each from Mandi, Kinnuar and Hamirpur and one each from Shimla, Chamba, Una and Bilaspur district .
He said that two new cases were reported in Mandi district increasing the total number to 17 in the district including seven actives cases . Two people have died in the district while eight others have recovered,
Deputy Commissioner, Harikesh Meena said that two fresh Corona Virus infected cases found in Hamirpur district include a 30 years old Male from, Barin Mandir and had returned from Delhi. He was under Institutional quarantine at Hamirpur.
Another found was a 25 years old male from Jahu and had returned from Mohali (Punjab) recently and was under Institutional quarantine at Jahu.
He said that both were being sent to Covid care centers for treatment and their primary secondary contacts traced.
With this, total number of Corona positives in the district has risen to 114, including 78 active cases, 35 cured and one dead.
Deputy commissioner Kangra Rakesh Prajapati said that a 30 yr man resident of village Badhal, Tehsil Fatehpur with travel history of Madhya pradesh returned on 27 th May presently at Intitution Quarantine Sansarpur Terrace and asymptomatic.
A 31 yr old male with travel h/o Pathankot on 28 th May presently in home quarantine at Gangath, A 25 yr old male, r/ o Golwan tehsil fatehpur presently at IQ Fatehpur for violating containment zone orders (no travel history) and A 22 yrs male traveller from Delhi by Air India flight on 29th May presently in Institutional querantine at Fatehpur tested positive. All being shifted to DCCC Baijnath
Six people were recovered in the Kangra district today as their test found negative in the hospital
With four new cases tally increased to 94 in the district including 54 active and 39 recovered .
Sonam Negi Chief Medical Officer of Kinnaur confirmed that a 45 year Male from Sangla and a 40 year female from sangla were tested positive today.
Both had arrived from Delhi recently on 26th May and are in institutional quarantine at Urni now being sent to CCC at Rekong peo informed CMO.
One man belonged to Rampur also tested positive in Shimla district today.
He also entered the state from Delhi on May 27 boarding the same bus which carried two above Covid patient belonged to Sangla tested postive today.
These 2 are first cases reported in Kinnuar district.
Subdivisional Magistate Narinder Chauhan said that out of 27 sample taken from Rampur one is found positive.
The positive patient belonged to Taklach area of Rampur and was staying in SJVNL Quarantine Centre Juri from where he would be shifted to Dedicated Covid Care Centre Mashobra outskrit of this capital town today.
With this total number of Covid cases increased to ten in Shimla district and active patient eight , one woman died of Covid and one patient recovered in the district.
One Man belonged to Nalagarh area of Solan district tested positive in Bilaspur district today. He was staying in Swarghat Quarantine Centre of Bilaspur district. Also another person who was tested positive in the district earlier recovered as his report tested negative today.
With this total number of cases in Bilaspur increased to 14 and active cases to ten, Eight people have recovered from the pandemic in the district.
Two more people also recovered in Una district increasing the number of people cured here to 24. One new case was reported in district today (total cases 49 and active cases 16 ).
With 2 more recovering in Chamba total active cases left here are 12 now and thirteen have cured. One more tested positive today leading the total to 25 cases here.
Now with these 14 new cases in the state total positive in state mounted to 359 and Active cases are 204 . About 144 patients have recovered in the state as state reported six death due to pandemic and four cases migrated to other states outside Himachal Pradesh .
