Random samples of 64 returnees were sent to CRI Kasauli lab for testing. Early morning around 0030 hrs reports of two Delhi returnees were released. A 30 year old Woman and her 7 year old daughter from Paonta Sahib were tested positive confirmed RD Dhiman, ACS Health. Both had returned from North East Delhi on May 04 and were under home quarantine.
On Wednesday a 29 year old male had tested positive in Kangra. The youth is from Kakrain village in tehsil Palampur. Reportedly he had returned from Gurugram on April 28, and was in home quarantine.
Kangra district in 3 days has recorded 7 positive cases and 2 were confirmed in Hamirpur district. The two tested positive in Hamirpur district are aged 50 years and 30 years and were asymptomatic. They belong to Bajrol panchayat under Sujanpur tehsil and had returned from Delhi on May 1 this year.
The total positive case count have moved up to 69 and ‘Active’ cases are 28 now.
Till date Una district has recorded 17 cases, Chamba 12, Kangra recorded 16, Solan 9, Hamirpur 6, now Sirmaur 4, Bilaspur and Mandi 2 each and Shimla one.
