Himachal Pradesh Covid Positivity rate has come down to 1.14 p c in the last one week as a total of 2,02,642 persons have been found COVID positive till 4th July, 2021. This was stated by the health department spokesperson that number of active cases has continuously declined and has reached a low of 1365 active cases as on today.

In last week from Jun 28 to Jul 04, 2021 as many as 977 people tested positive for Covid -19 and ten people died as the sample of 85590 people were tested in the state. Thus positivity rate of 1.14 percent was recorded during the same period.
The positivity rate was 3.19 pc and highest in Mandi district as out of 5301 sample 169 people found positive followed by Chamba with 2.09 pc as 179 covid patients were traced in last one week out of 8749 samples. In Lahaul Spiti and Kinnuar positivity rate also remains high. It was 2.34 in Kinnuar as out 1456 samples 34 tested positive in Kinnuar and two pc in Lahaul Spitit as 601 samples 12 found positive.
In the Shimla district the positivity rate was 1.60 pc as out of 8854 samples 142 people tested positive. In Kangra district which had recorded very high positivity rate during first and second wave has come down to 1.22 pc attributing maximum four deaths due to pandemic as out of 8980 samples 110 found positive for Covid -19.
In four districts the positivity rate is less than one percent including 0.34 pc in Solan, 0.65 pc in Hamirpur, 0 .81 pc in Una and 0.81 pc in Bilaspur.
