State Council of Minister of Jai Ram Thakur Government has urged recovered Covid patiens to come forward as volunteer in the state hospital isolation wards after developing antibodies for the deadly Coronavirus.
Soon after visiting Indra Gandhi Medical College Hospital Shimla isolation ward on Monday health minister Rajiv Saizal Monday appealed to in recovered covid patients.
” Such recovered Covid patient by offering their services in the state isolation ward as a volunteers could raise the low morale of covid patients currently undergoing treatment ” Minister has a new idea.
“Those who have recovered from Covid have developed antibodies , thus at a decreased risk of infection. All they have to do is talk to covid patients to provide emotional support. ” he further.
They would not be need to do any other kind of work while serving as volunteer , he added.
Minister also showered praise on those doctors and Covid warrior staff members who are boldly serving the covid isolation wards.
The yeoman services being rendered by the doctors or paramedics servings without any breaks or drink or food wearing PPE kits for eight hours or more, he added.
