While 16 each tested positive in Hamipur and Kangra district, 15 in Una, Five in Shimla, six in Solan, three in Bilaspur, and four in Sirmaur and one in Mandi districts, he said.With 66 fresh infections, the tally rose to 727 which included 279 active cases. As many as 32 patients recovered in the state during last 24 hours.
Chief Medical Officer of Hamipur Archana Soni confirmed that 16 new cases of Corona surfaced in Hamirpur district as five cases each were reported in Nadaun medical block and Tauni Devi and three each in Bhoranj and Barsar.
With the reporting of 16 new cases, the total number of Corona positive cases in Hamipur district has risen to 182. This includes 70 active cases, 111 cured and two dead.
Deputy Commissioner Kangra Rakesh Prajapati said that with ten fresh cases in the district, the total increased to 191.
He said that a 41-yr-old man having a travel history of Delhi tested positive today. His wife and daughter had already tested positive .
Similarly, a 38-yr-old man also returned from Delhi tested positive. He was in institution quarantine in Talwar.
A 51-yr-old resident of Rakh village and Nagri post office tested positive. His son, with travel history of Delhi, had already tested positive.
First two are being shifted to DCCC Baijnath and last at DCCC Dadh respectively.
With the surfacing of ten new cases, the total number of Corona positive cases in Kangra district has risen to 191 . This includes 70 active cases 120 cured and one dead.
Six members of a family contracted to SARS CoV-2 belonged to Katohad- Kalan village. This family– 54-yr-old woman, 33-yr-old son, 30-yr-old daughter-in-law, 4 yr-old and one-yr-old grand daughters and two-yr-old grandson tested positive.
A 40-year-old man belonged to Poliyana if Haroli subdivision tested positive. A 31-yr-old man belonging to Raipur maidan of Bangana tested positive. Both had returned from Delhi recently.
A 65-yr-old woman of Friends Colony Una town also tested for SARS-COV-2 . She had returned from Gurgaon recently.
He said that seven people who tested positive for SARS-COV-2 recently recovered from the pandemic in the district.
With this total number of cases in the Bilaspur district increased to 37 and 14 active cases. 23 patients recovered in the district.
With six new cases, the total number of nCoV cases increased to 81 in Solan district including 47 active and 30 cured .
in the district.
A total of 32 people recovered in the state today increasing total cured cases to 429.
Till date, six people have lost their lives due to the lethal infection
