Shimla, Aug 6
Newly inducted Himachal Pradesh Minister for Power and Multiple Purpose Project is Sukh Ram Chaudhary contracted by the novel Corona Virus as he was tested positive for the virus today.
In his social media post released today Chaudhary who is three times member of Assembly from Paonta sahib in Sirmuar district said that he tested positive for nCoV today.
It is worthwhile to mention that he had gone home quarantine on Tuesday as he came in contact with some outsider resident .
Deputy Commissioner Shimla Amit Kashyap also confirmed the Development adding that private secretary of Minister and BJP Youva Morcha leader also tested positive for nCoV who came in contact with Minister.
Minister said that all those who came in his contact recently should isolate them and under go test for the COVID-19.
Minister said that he got symptomatic for the Pandemic three days ago and offered himself for quarantine and Covid testing.
Minister said that he is out of danger but hospitalized today.
Deputy Commissioner said that entire premises of Minister has been sealed and contact tracing being done by the Administration.
