No more staggering for Class III & IV employees, instead 5 days at office for all classes, 6th from home

Stepping back on its decision of staggering class III and Class IV employees to 50 percent capacity but working 6 days in office, the State government has now adopted a different strategy to combat the pandemic. Therefore from December 1 till December 31, the government offices will run with 100 percent workforce for five day and shall remain work from home on the sixth.

“Government servants of all classes (Class Ito Class IV and categories of posts, including those working on contractual, daily wages, part-time and outsourcing basis will attend offices on all working days except on Saturdays,” reads the order by Chief Secretary.

“All employees/officers will work from home on all working Saturdays,” it states further.

The Chief Minister in his video conferencing with all district officers, Principals and Medical Superintendents of various government medical colleges stated that all government offices will 5 work day every week. However the situation will be reviewed from time to time, he had added.
