Gram Panchayat Secretary, Gram Panchayat Kotari Byas ( testura) caught red-handed, taking Rs 16000 from the complaint today, informed a police officer. Station State Vigilance & Anti Corruption Bureau, Nahan against Reeta Gupta, the Secretary, Gram Panchayat Kotari Byas ( testura ), Tehsil Paonta Sahib, District Sirmour. She got caught red-handed while demanding or accepting illegal gratification of Rs. 16000 from the complainant in place of releasing pending payment of the construction material supplied to the Gram Panchayat. Further investigation of the case is in progress. A case was lodged today under section seven of ( Amended ) PC Act, 2018 by the State police.
