Post bye Election BJP state executive meet begins at Shimla

Ruling BJP in the state today convened a state executive committee meeting at Peterhoff to discuss about the outcome of bye election and the party’s unexpected defeat in all the four bye poll held on Oct 30 for Mandi Parliamentary, Fatehpur, Arki and Jubbal Kotkhai Assembly.
Party state incharge Avinash Khanna interacted with media person just before brainstorming session of state executive here today.
He said that party have to win upcoming Shimla Mincipal Corporation Election and Vidhan Sabha general election in 2022 therefore this meeting is very important for the ruling party.
Khanna said that party leaders would discuss about reason of party loss in recent bye Election and after drawing learnings from mistakes, the party would emerge victorious again in the upcoming polls.
He said that party executive committee meet every three months however this meeting is very crucial for the ruling party as after facing defeat in the bye election its leaders would discuss and sit together to find out reason and cause of loosing Bye-election. The suggestion and outcome of the meeting, Development and good policy would repeat  party government after  winning Shimla MC and Vidhan sabha election next year.
Responding to resignation by party vice president Kripal Parmar on Tuesday he said that it is not so important as he has decided to quit post not the party.
“Party posts are not permanent but workers should keep working for the party should be important for the party.” Party state incharge Avinash Khanna said.
He said that their concerted efforts and focus would be on making policy, program and party activities in favour of common man to ensure that party regain the lost faith in upcoming elections.
Among those attending state executive meetings are Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur, Urban development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, Party President Suresh Kashyap and Former president Rajiv Bindal, District Shimla President Ravi Mehta.
Former Chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and Shanta Kumar were invited in the meeting.
