Regular classes from 9th to 12th will resume in Himachal Pradesh from Nov 2. The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet decided has decided to conduct regular classes from 9th to 12th standard in all educational institutions of the State from 2nd November, 2020.  The State Cabinet in its meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur decided to resume classes in colleges of the State. A spokesperson of the state government stated that classes would resume by following the SOP/guidelines of Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
Besides the Cabinet gave its approval to promote students enrolled in 1st and 2nd year UG courses for academic session 2019-20 to the next academic year on the basis of UG guidelines keeping in view the Covid-19 pandemic. However for final years exams shall be conducted, he added.
Though till filing of the report no decision to resolve the fee row between parents vs schools has been taken by the government.
